^_^ Tenchi muyo!

I started watching it! And it is awesome, I've never actually laughed too much at the innuendo in Anime, since I think it's a bit forced sometimes. However This show manages to make me laugh, whilst also having spaceships, cute furry animals, aliens, pirates, sword fighting and explosions.

I am in love. I'll talk more on it once I've finished watching it.

Also, my favourite Samurai 7 character was without a doubt Kikuchiyo-Dono, he was both funny and kickass.

Modern Warfare 2 [2/2]

Ok, now all the trailers are out of the way, and your all hyped up ( I hope), let's continue.

Looking at the trailer I can see straight away it looks to be more action packed than the last, most of whihc was sneaky missions behind enemy lines as the SAS. Now we seem to be part of a Counter Terrorism unit and are intent on getting rid of the old bad guy's right hand man. Again, a little cliched if you ask me.

However looking at the trailer again, I can see vehicle gameplay will be there, and it looks like we can shoot whilst driving! Look closely as the snowmobile is driving, and you'll see his gun come up and fire! I'm all happy just about that.

It seems like som rather large battles are in store, the mountains and Brazil seem to be quite large and contain lots of fighting, the mountains of Russian also has the most brutal scene, where a man on a snowmobile is impaled through the skull, with an ice axe! I don't know if this is a set piece where an NPC does it, or it's one of your guys driving, either way it looks awesome.

It would seem someone's being interrogated too, he's wearing orange and I think he has explosives strapped to him-someone important? So far it seems the game is shaping up well, but I don't know whether it will be any different graphically to COD 4. I know that in HD COD 4 was easily the best looking shooter I had.

From information gleamed form interviews and Wikipedia, I've found that the story involves the character you played as in the last game one "Soap" MacTavish-who is now leader of a unit created to birng down one Vladimir Makarov. The name of this unit: Task Force 141.

I'm sure that a demo or some more trailers will become evident soon, and I'm excited-I know the switch to Modern War was strange for some and hated by others, but WAW showed me Treyarch are out of ideas, and if they can only copy Infinity Ward now-then let them do all the COD games I say.

As a parting shot, here's the Xbox case, which is awesome. However it isn't final.

Remember, remember-the 11th of November.

Modern Warfare 2 [1/2]

Here it is! I've managed to gain the chance to blog on a game just as the hype begins to build, so let's recap on COD 4.

Call of Duty 4 was the game that distinguished Inifinity Ward as a company willing to deviate from COD's standard WWII setting, it was at a good time since WWII shooters had been played on too much in the past. At first many were wary, but then as demos were released and hype began to build. People realised just what Inifinity Ward had done, they had been brave and came out with possibly the greatest FPS of all time.

Now COD 4 was very good, a little bit boring story wise, but being in a modern setting was enough for fans, who soon made it clear they enjoyed the game. Xbox Live and Playstation Network, advanced that, as COD 4's multiplayer was deemed the most popular next to Halo 3.

I know from experience, that playing online in a game of COD 4 is the most fun I've ever had. To get a bunch of friends together and play was brilliant, and it's Create-a-Class made the game just that little bit different to ensure you kept coming back.

Of course, then Treyarch got the next game and COD: World at War was essentially a carbon copy of COD 4 with WWII decorations. I refuse to admit it existed...Blergh.

Now the hype machine has begun to roll with the news of Modern Warfare 2 (note, not COD). The first teaser was one that contained some secrets, btu I'll let you watch it first:

Seen it? Excited?

Now if you go to the games site: http://modernwarfare2.infinityward.com/

Here people could examine the teaser and find things, amongst some things were some Perk icons, a teddy bear, and a couple of other images. All very interactive. For those of us, like me, who can't be arsed, feel free to watch this and see these images for yourself:

Now, on the 24th a full lenth trailer was released. This included gameplay, locations, and hints at the story line, locations revealed are, the mountains of Russia, Afghanstan and Brazil, watch the trailer and see for yourself:

I'm so forgetfull

How could I forget! I just got reminded of another Anime that is excellent: Samurai 7, a re-envisioning of possibly the most famous movie to come from Japan, I saw it and my jaw dropped through every epsiode. It was both epic, and breathtaking, I enjoyed every minute of it.

Thank you Lostquestions for commenting on my firs tpost and reminding me.

If you haven't. Watch it.

Look Up

See the neat banner? I got in touch with a forum I used to run about on, got them too make me it, it's not the world greatest fit but it sure does look good. Well, Maybe I can get to work on some game stuff now, I've decided to change my next subject. Given recent events, tomorrow I'll attempt to get something up. Expect links to a video.

Let's just say, I really want November to come around.

Haruhi Suzumiya S2 first look?

I love The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, it's a quirky Science-Fiction comedy that I really enjoy watching, and I think the second season may be close to arriving in Japan

Ok, so before theygo anywhere with a second season of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (EPIC), their taking the first season and rerunning it in the correct orders, as before it ws aired out of chornological order deliberately. However through that a new episode has popped up, I don't know if it's a hint at the second season being close to airing, bt I'm downloading it now, so once I look it over I'll probably come on here to gush over it.

Not all Anime I watch is serious action, gore, or cyberpunk. This one was the second Anime I ever saw.

Yay! Recognition!

Ok, so got some things to answer to Lost Questions, yes the list was helpful. I watched or tried to watch pretty much everything on it. I also as you can see from the links section, I do read VG cats and Applegeeks, and Penny Arcade.

Alos, I do believe the Spectrum ZX is the king (is that the name), I never had one, will have one or use one. However I do recognise it's supremacy.

Also, Pain better kill himself or make Naruto go Sage mode again, I lve the fights he ends up having.

Tenchi Muyo & Ghost in the Shell

Ok, recently heard of another Anime. It's called Tenchi muyo, and has the makings of a really good show, I'll need to get watching, bt for now I think it looks quite good. Guess I'll see.

Also, Ghost in the Shell? I do watch it, got so far before giving it a rest. Can't stand the whole "Stand Aone" "Complex" thing. Drags things on too muhc. Good show though and I enjoy it.

Oh and yeah, Darker than Black DID get all emotions and stuff, still, begs the question as to why? Characters who are supposedly cold hearted killers and one of them seems to be different, I'm curious.

Naruto 448!

Yep, Naruto 448 is now up at OneManga. I know it's out every friday, but I wait a bit so I'm late posting. Anyway, here's the direct link to the Naruto page. Whihc I will put up at the Links on the right tomorrow, as well as the Bleach Manga, and some of the others.

So enjoy, it's getting really good. Naruto in Sage Mode is sick, I never wanted the fight to end!

Darker than Black

Ok, So I've started watching Darker than Black and it is possibly the cooles Anime I've ever seen.
At first it was the standard affair, people with powers. I thought it was going to be just filled with stupid character development and stuff, but the thing is: It can't, as the characters (majorit of them), are emotionless killers with superpowers!

I love it, and I know it's going to be good the more I watch, so I'm going to go see the rest of the series.

Alos, yes that is an image from the web, because I;m using someone elses computer and I aint filling it with my images.

First Game Piece!

So, I finally have something to talk about games related!

I don't know about everyone else, but do you all remember Red Dead Revolver? I do, and it was awesomness in a can. Now there's a sequel:

Red Dead Redemption

Apparently it's not a direct sequel, but it will be an open world third person adventure shooter much like GTA that will span several different areas of the Old West at the beginning of the Industrial Revolution. Which means the world of the Cowboy is ending.

You play a charatcer called John Marston, an ex-outlaw who wants to settle down with his family (I think he has a family anyway). However that of course is better suited to The Sims, so instead we end up spanning three diferent areas, blasting our way through towns and people with wild abandon.

The start fot he game is in an area much like the previous game, an area where there is still a Marshall and people can walk about setroying towns in the name of an eyepatch wearing boss, whose pistols are likely golden.

The second is an area undergoing change, and the third a more modern Industrial area that America became at the end of the Cowboy-era.

Of course thier is some additional stuff like side missions and hunting and horse riding. However it all pales in comparison to the sheer size of the game, which is possibly one of the bigges they've done. Also, some fo the odl mechanics will come back, I don't remember it's name, but the old standoff shootouts are back, which were hilariously fun in the presvious game.

I'm excited, and I hope your all excited, so in the meantime whilst I learn more, crack open Red Dead Revolver or walk around with bandy legs, get in some practice!

Bleach 220!

I'm not at it yet, but it seems those guys over at Dattebayo have subbed Bleach episode 220! So if you want to get watching then go on and download it, I knwo from experience their downloads are quick and clean. It's also better than watching it on Youtube, because they hate people cutting their videos. I agree with them, so do the good thing and go download it.

See if there's anything else for you!

P.S:

I know they sub Naruto, but I honestly prefer the Manga to the Anime. Besides, I'm still behind by a few episodes.

My position on the Console War

Get the fuck over it, enjoy your console. Don't drag others into a war that in the end will be relaced by a newer generation of technology. If you are a serious fanboy, you need to get examined, so shut the fuck up and play the fucking game.

'Nuff said

Welcome to The MAG!

Hey there! I thought a good first blog post would be one that explains a little about myself, and about the Blog as well. Fits off, I have blogged before, but it became infrequent and too weighed down by it's single subject. At the time this was just Video Games, but The MAG is more.

It is, Manga, Anime, Games, see? That's just how witty I am!

Now, I love games, could give you my opinion on them all the time, as for Anime and Manga, I'm just getting off into Manga, but in the last month I've wathced plenty of Anime, this includes:

Bleach
Naruto
Naruto Shippuuden
Death Note
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Full Metal Panic!
Full Metal Alchemist

I'm catchign up with all the stuff I have missed over the years. So once I catch up with them all, I can post updates on them. Also, if anyone knows of some real good Anime and Manga, point me in the right direction, kay?

Whilst Games are going to be the dominant subject, I won't stick with just that, once I get more time I'll maybe make it more casual too, possibly tell you about some real good sites or links to go to.

For now, I'm actually going to look over IGN and Gamespot for the games announced recently, then watch Bleach, I'mon episode...128, I think anyway.

Also, I write Fanfiction, I'm not brilliant but I have some stuff up, I'll maybe link to my profile once I've got more up.

That's all for now, I'm going to make a seperate few posts now to get some other stuff out of the way.
